Feinstein's at Loews Regency will continue its Fall 2012 season with two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy award-nominated entertainer Michael Feinstein. Celebrating the release of his new book The Gershwins and Me and a CD of twelve Gershwin songs, Michael will perform "A Gershwin Holiday."

The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the eighth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Sam Willmott. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by David Hyde Pierce tonight, November 26th from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lobby of The American Airlines Theater.

The Chicago Theatre announced today a brand new student discount beginning today and running through February 2013 in which college students in the Chicago area can take advantage of $2 off the full ticket price with valid student ID. Birdland has announced the third year of "A Swinging Birdland Christmas," starring Birdland regulars Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch. This will be a limited engagement of 6 performances, Friday, December 21 through Tuesday, December 25. All shows are at 6pm, except for the Monday and Tuesday, with 7pm and 10pm shows.

Broadway at Birdland today announced the continuation of the partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn with two holiday-themed "Frank & Friends" concerts. These evenings will celebrate the holiday songs and favorite performers from the composer's wide range of work in popular, theatrical and classical music. All profits will go to The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment.
