With her thick accent and slippery grasp of the English language, campy Cuban chanteuse MARGARITA PRACATAN has been wowing audiences for decades with her devastating renditions of Broadway standards and pop favorites by the likes of ABBA, Boy George, and Britney Spears.

Some of Broadway's legendary leading ladies came out for Ben Vereen's opening week at 54 Below. Liza Minnelli, Chita Rivera and Bebe Neuwirth were among the stars to catch 'Steppin' Out with Ben Vereen' and visit with the star backstage following the performance. Tonight, July 16, Broadway at Birdland presents multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn in his monthly concert series called "Frank & Friends." Joining Frank onstage will be gifted Grammy-nominated jazz singer Jane Monheit, and Las Vegas and Cafe Carlyle headliner Clint Holmes.

Paulden Hall Productions in association with folie a deux present I Am A Camera by John Van Druten, directed by Anthony Lau and featuring set designer James Turner, costume designer Sarah Booth, composer and musical director Angus McRae, with producers Paulden Hall Productions and Folie a deux. The show will run for a three-week season at The Vault at Southwark Playhouse, from Wednesday September 5 - Saturday September 22. Press night is Thursday 6 September at 7.30pm.

Start spreading the news…because Liza Minnelli is making her debut at Peter Mac's Supper club inside the French Market. The show stars critically acclaimed and renowned Tribute Artist, Peter Mac. Mac is best known for his loving and sympathetic portrayal of Minnelli's "Mama", Judy Garland. This time Mac is taking over the role the lady who Fred Astaire once dubbed as "Hollywood's Crown Princess".

On July 20th at 8pm a mixture of Broadway talent and nightlife personas will gather at Elmo is Chelsea to celebrate the 25th Year of Marti Gould Cummings, Brad Gardner, and Joey Contreras. This annual triple birthday event will feature some of NYC's brightest talents celebrating these three young men. Elmo is located in Chelsea on 19th Street and 7th Avenue.

Given Dance New Amsterdam's (DNA) recent legal victories regarding the renewal of its Lower Manhattan lease, it is all the more satisfying to announce an impressive roster of returning artists for the DNA PRESENTS 2012-2013 season, opening September 12, 2012.

For over twenty-five years, the late Bradshaw Smith (Founder & Executive Producer of "Broadway Beat" and Applause Video) was the theater world's preeminent videographer, capturing over 1,000 performances on Broadway, off-Broadway, in cabaret halls and beyond that now, because of him, live on today. Bradshaw Smith died on January 16, 2012, at age 57, following a sudden and severe stroke. To conclude the intimate memorial, Bradshaw's longtime friend and editor, Jonathan Frank, compiled the best of Bradshaw's work as a video artist.
