A public memorial for actress Helen Hanft will be held on tonight, July 14 at 7 PM in the Ellington Room at Manhattan Plaza, 400 W. 43 St. (Ninth Ave. building).

On Monday, July 8, Stephanie J. Block performed the second of two sold-out shows at Birdland. As before, Block's co-stars from her various Broadway shows came to cheer, including Chita Rivera (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) and Megan Hilty (Wicked).

Fresh off the heels with rave reviews for his conducting debut with the Pasadena POPS, Michael Feinstein returns to lead the orchestra in a performance celebrating the legendary films of MGM. Michael Feinstein's MGM Movie Classics tonight, July 13 features rare and stunning arrangements from the golden age of the silver screen, and the orchestra will be joined by guest vocalists Ron Raines, Christine Ebersole, the cast of Hollywood Revisited, and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Tap Ensemble.

In an interveiw with Bloomberg News, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT producer Brian Grazer revealed that Netflix is currently in active talks with 20th Century Fox to produce another season of the cult favorite. 'We are in conversations with them to do another,' Grazer shared. 'They are interested in doing that.'

Pasadena Symphony Association President Diane Rankin and Chief Executive Officer Paul Jan Zdunek today announced the extension of Principal Pops Conductor Michael Feinstein's contract through 2016. His current contract was for a 1-year term, but fresh off the heels with rave reviews for his conducting debut to capacity crowds on June 1st, the leadership of the Pasadena Symphony Association immediately offered Feinstein a multi-year contract extension. The decision represents a confident commitment to Feinstein and support for his vision for the Pasadena POPS Summer Concert Series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden.

The Encore Celebration Gala Weekend, held on June 28-29 and presented by Krieg DeVault, also served as a benefit for the Center for the Performing Arts for the second annual Great American Songbook Hall of Fame induction.
