Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly kicks off his 11th Pops season with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) in The Streisand Songbook with Ann Hampton Callaway on Thursday, October 10 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 at 8 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, and Sunday, October 13 at 3 p.m. at the Meyerhoff. Singer-songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway will sing some of Barbra Streisand's biggest hits, including favorites from Broadway musicals as Funny Girl to film hits such as A Star is Born. The Harvard Department of Music and the Office for the Arts at Harvard have announced the appointment of Jason Robert Brown as Blodgett Artist-in-Residence during the spring of 2014. A celebrated American composer, Brown has been hailed as 'one of Broadway's smartest and most sophisticated songwriters since Stephen Sondheim' (Philadelphia Inquirer). He is known best as the award-winning composer and lyricist of the musical The Last 5 Years, and the Tony-award winning composer of Parade.

About Face Theatre is pleased to announce its 2013-14 programming, showcasing premiere productions and developmental works that explore gender and sexual identity. AFT's mainstage kicks-off this winter with the return of the hit holiday musical WE THREE LIZAS, featuring a new book and expanded score. The legendary Liza Minnelli will perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, making her debut performance at the iconic venue. This special, one-night-only performance features Minnelli and her band performing songs from throughout her groundbreaking career. This performance is part of a short West Coast tour.

No one represents the magic of New York's nightlife better than Andy Warhol, the legendary artist who gave the city a gallery of colorful disciples and defined much of its creative golden age. Now, for the first time, Warhol's own view of glamorous New York after dark is on display with a series of photographs featuring personal and candid moments with luminaries such as Mick Jagger, Madonna, Deborah Harry, Grace Jones and others. The new exhibit, curated by 1stdibs - the world's largest online luxury marketplace - will debut on September 09, 2013 online as well as in a gallery exhibition at the New York Design Center. The exhibit will be curated by Warhol expert and collector Jim Hedges of Hedges Projects.
