54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Cabaret and Broadway favorites Jeff Harnar, Linda Hart, Nicolas King and Jennifer Sheehan in 'COME FLY WITH ME' on November 21, 2013. The evening is a centenary celebration of the lyrics of Sammy Cahn and the music of Jimmy Van Heusen and was conceived and directed by Grammy and Emmy Award winner, John McDaniel, during his first season as artistic director of the O'Neill Theater Center's Cabaret and Performance conference. Mr. McDaniel makes his New York directorial debut with this show.

This Saturday, Angelwalk Theatre is hosting a special fundraising event featuring two of the greatest female musical theatre darlings in the city - Gabi Epstein and Jeni Walls. Liza & Barbra...Together at Last will feature Jeni as Liza and Gabi as Barbra, performing classic numbers of two of the stage's biggest stars. They will be backed by a live orchestra featuring new arrangements by music director and conductor Donavon LeNabat. And for the Jersey Boys fans among us, there will be a special guest appearance by our own Frankie Valli - Jeff Madden!
The fundraiser is to support Angelwalk's fifth anniversary season, celebrating their mission to produce off-Broadway style musical theatre in Toronto. There will be a silent auction, raffles and prizes. Best of all? Great music that everyone will know and love!
BWW sat down to chat with both ladies about this unique concert, about their love of Liza and Barbra and about what people can expect from this exciting night of musical theatre powerhouses:

The New York City-based cabaret singer will present 'Stardust and other sparkly things...' on Saturday, November 9 (4 p.m.);Tuesday, November 26 (7 p.m.); and Saturday, December 7 (4 p.m.) at The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues), New York City.

The word "iconic" is bandied about with frequency these days, but last night's premiere installment of "Lorna's Pink Party" at Birdland was the happy scene for several recreations of historic showbiz moments. They'll all do it again next Monday, October 21 - but last night, hostess Lorna Luft and sister Liza Minnelli joined forces in a thrilling blast-from-the-past performance that left the jam-packed crowd cheering, stomping and begging for more. The Actors Fund, the nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, last night presented the 2013 edition of Nothing Like a Dame: Lorna's Pink Party, a benefit for the Phyllis NewmanWomen's Health Initiative and the Dr. Philomena McAndrew Fund of Tower Cancer Research Foundation. This highly anticipated event, starring entertainment legend Lorna Luft with her special guest Liza Minnelli will continue on Monday, October 21st at 7 pm, at Birdland, 315 West 44th Street, New York City.

Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly kicks off his 11th Pops season with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) in The Streisand Songbook with Ann Hampton Callaway tonight, October 10 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 at 8 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, and Sunday, October 13 at 3 p.m. at the Meyerhoff. Singer-songwriter Ann Hampton Callaway will sing some of Barbra Streisand's biggest hits, including favorites from Broadway musicals as Funny Girl to film hits such as A Star is Born. Furthermore, Maestro Everly will lead Callaway in a post-concert performance in the Meyerhoff lobby on Friday, October 11. Please see below for complete program details.
