As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, the critically acclaimed and award-winning Roundabout Theatre Company is proud to present, direct from Broadway, the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL's (Into the Woodsand Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET, playing this weekend, February 23-28 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Associated Bank Broadway at the Marcus Center and Broadway Across America-Milwaukee series.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Show Biz After Hours with Frank DiLella and Special Guests; Turn the Beat Around - 54 Below Celebrates Studio 54; Anita Gillette & Penny Fuller in Sin Twisters, Too!; Michael Zahler & Will Van Dyke in Still It's True; and Josh Young Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber. 

The brainchild of Metropolitan Room managing partner Bernie Furshpan, his General Manager Joseph Macchia, and Cabaret Scenes Magazine Publisher Peter Leavy, New York's first International Cabaret Festival (February 17-21) debuted Wednesday night at the Met Room with performances and inductions into the newly established Cabaret Hall of Fame (an actual location for Hall and its memorabilia to be determined at a later date). Clubs hosting this year's festival include The Metropolitan Room, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, Feinstein's/54 Below, Iridium, Joe's Pub, and Stage 72 (formerly The Triad).

The creative team behind the Tony Award-winning PARADE, the much adored musical based on the trial of Leo Frank, discusses how history can inspire art. Accompanied by an ensemble of six performers and nine musicians, "An Evening on PARADE" will be on Monday, March 7, 7 P.M., at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.

Nationally known comic Jay Black will headline a weekend of comedy at the historic Bucks County Playhouse, February 26-27 at 8 pm.

Two time Drama Desk Award nominated actress, mistress of impressions, YouTube sensation, and star of the upcoming Broadway revival of 'The Rise and Fall of Little Voice' Christina Bianco joins musical theater fanatic, cruise ship performer and celebrity stalker Lance to talk about her 'impressive' career on his long-running variety-talk show on Sunday, February 21 at 7PM at the Triple Crown Underground, 330 7th Ave, NYC.

Today in 1984, The Rink opend at the Martin Beck Theatre (now the Al Hirschfeld Theatre), where it ran for 204 performances. With a book by Terrence McNally, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and music by John Kander, the musical focuses on Anna, the owner of a dilapidated roller skating rink on the boardwalk of a decaying seaside resort, who has decided to sell it to developers. Complicating her plans are her prodigal daughter Angel, who returns to town seeking to reconnect with the people and places she long ago left behind. Through a series of flashbacks, revelations, and minimal forward-moving plot development, the two deal with their pasts in their attempt to reconcile and move on with their lives.
