Cabaret Cares/Help Is On The Way Today, a 501c non-profit organization founded by MAC Award winning producer, Joseph Macchia, will hold its annual fundraising gala (cocktails, auction, dinner, show) on May 18th at the Laurie Beechman Theater, featuring a live show with many of New York's favorite performers who donate their time and talent to this wonderful event.
After a huge success in 2013 Joseph Macchia has decided to bring back Its Only Love An Evening Of Broadway Love Songs. On Valentines Day Night some of the most talented Broadway performers will come together at The Metropolitan Room to celebrate Love.
The concert event tonight, November 14th is titled, 'Bright Stars of Broadway' and, because there are multiple blessings accounted for, the concert is dedicated to Zahava Furshpan, Bernie's mom, who died almost three years ago.

New York cabaret performer and musical theater actress Liz McKendry (currently appearing the musical Boeing, Boeing at the Cape May Stage until September 13) has been cast to portray late 19th-early 20th-Century Theater legend Fay Templeton in Up in a Balloon, a one-woman comedy about Templeton's life and career, written by New York actress Karen McDonald. The show, which previously had successful workshops in New York and Toronto, will be performed today, September 1 at 3pm on the Cape May Stage at The Robert Shackleton Playhouse in Cape May, New Jersey. Admission is free. (Theater is located at 405 Lafayette Street.)

Boeing Boeing will run from Wednesday, July 31 to Friday, September 13 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are at 8 p.m. and occur Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+), and $15 students. A half-price preview performance will take place on Wednesday, July 31 followed by the official opening/press night on Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 18 will be a special half-price night for seniors. A Funny Thing Happened in the Way to the Forum brings a great cast to the Paper Mill Playhouse stage. Paul Vogt (Pseudolus) made his Broadway debut as Edna Turnblad in Hairspray and he replaced Harvey Fierstein in the Las Vegas production. Films include Garry Marshall's Valentines Day and Princess Diaries 2. Audiences know Paul from 'MADtv.' This is Paul's first Paper Mill Playhouse experience.
