Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT), Arizona's leader in Musical Theatre, continues its 14th Season with the Broadway blockbuster hit Mamma Mia! March 15 - April 20.

Arizona Broadway Theatre's staging of SHREK THE MUSICAL exceeds expectations. Mace Archer has gone beyond the norm, directing something more than a lively and exhilarating show. He's fashioned a distinctive and incredibly intimate and engaging experience that speaks with authenticity to audience members young and older. Archer is aided and abetted in this theatrical coup by a gangbuster cast, featuring the awesome foursome of Jason Simon as the 'big stupid ugly ogre,' Liz Fallon as Fiona, Deonte Warren as Donkey, and David Brumfield as Lord Farquaad.

Cortland Repertory Theatre's third production in their 44th annual summer season is the regional theatre premiere of the 'creepy, kooky and all together ookie' musical 'The Addams Family', based on the iconic characters of TV, movies, and New Yorker cartoons drawn by Charles Addams. A recent show on Broadway, this new musical has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Performances of CRT's production will run from tonight, July 8, through July 25, 2015. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast below!

How sweet SWEET CHARITY is! Arizona Broadway Theatre pays glorious tribute to this theatrical gem by mounting its own diamond of a production, tastefully directed by Seth Reines, featuring the glowing talent of Liz Fallon as Charity, and sparkling with a marvelous fusion of imaginative Peter Max-style set design (Geof Eroe), lighting (Jeff Davis), and costumes (John P. White).

Playwrights Horizons announced the appointment of Liz Fallon Culp as the institution's new Director of Development. Ms. Culp joins the acclaimed theater company direct from New York Public Radio (WNYC/WQXR), where she served as the Senior Director of Major Gifts and Legacy Giving. She began with the theater company this month, leading its seven-person Development department.

McCarter Theatre Center's production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol has become a much loved holiday treat for families across the region. This heartwarming and powerfully honest adaptation by David Thompson of Dickens' classic novel is a wonderful way to honor tradition while experience the joy and warmth of a holiday favorite. Directed by Michael Unger, A Christmas Carol runs December 6 through December 29. (Press opening: Thursday, December 12). The Production Sponsor is Bank of America.
