Infinite Variety Productions Opens ECLIPSED at Tank Theatre Tonight, 9/28

New York City's own Infinite Variety Productions is set to perform the compelling and captivating historical play, 'Eclipsed' by PaTricia Burke Brogan. The show will start with a three-weekend run, opening tonight, September 28 at The Tank Theatre located on 151 West 46th street, 8th floor.

ABQ Theatre Guild Presents Free Symposium, 10/27

The Albuquerque Theatre Guild and the American Theatre Archive Project present a one-day, interactive symposium on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in the Salon Ortega at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. TitledRecognizing New Mexico's Theatrical Past, Present and Future: An Interactive Symposium, the free event will take attendees on a tour of how theatrical performances have been a part of the lives of New Mexicans for over 400 years. It explores the role of New Mexicans in creating and preserving that history for future generations.

After an 80-year absence from the stage, The ReGroup Theatre Company presents 1931- Claire & Paul Sifton's gritty tale of the Great Depression era at The Living Theatre, Oct 4-21st.

GEOGRAPHY BY A HORSE DREAMER and More Set for Mary-Arrchie's 27th Season

Mary-Arrchie launches right into its 27th season with Sam Shepard's surreal Geography of a Horse Dreamer this month, followed by a Mary-Arrchie re-imagining of The Glass Menagerie in November. Then we kick off 2013 with Austin Pendleton's riveting Uncle Bob in February 2013 and finish up with a relentless experimental staging of The Brig by Kenneth H. Brown in April and the Silver Anniversary of Abbie Hoffman Died for Our Sins Theatre Festival in August 2013.

Jean-Rene Toussaint Presents 3 Primitive Voice Workshops in NYC, Fall 2012

Jean-Rene Toussaint is a French-born director, actor, and voice teacher. He is the creator of a distinct school of vocal training for performing artists and therapists - a technique he has dubbed Stemwerk in Dutch - and is the founder and head of a training center in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and in Avanos-Cappadocie in Turkey. This Fall, Toussaint will present 3 workshops in New York City.

OPEN UP, HADRIAN Runs Now thru 9/30 at Magic Futurebox

Caborca Theatre and Magic Futurebox has announced their upcoming co-production, Open up, Hadrian, playing at Magic Futurebox (55 33rd St. 4th Floor, Brooklyn 11232) from tonight, September 13th to September 30, 2012. Written byJavierantonio González and directed by Meiyin Wang, Open up, Hadrian is an immersive promenade production that jumps more than 2,000 years and 20,000 square feet, transforming the Sunset Park warehouse into Ancient Rome by way of an excavated film set not so long abandoned.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes the 2011 FringeNYC critically acclaimed play IN THE SUMMER PAVILION, written by Paul David Young and directed by Kathy Gail MacGowan. IN THE SUMMER PAVILION begins performances on Friday, October 12th for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 3rd.

DREAMS HEAVIER THAN AIR Plays Castillo Theatre Tonight, 8/27

The Castillo Theatre continues its presentation of four winning scripts from the 2012 Mario Fratti-Fred Newman Political Play Contest, selected from more than 200 entries including submissions by playwrights from around the world. The plays are being directed by distinguished theatre professionals and the final production plays tonight, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Delaware River Theatre Collective Presents CATS, Now thru 8/26

The Delaware River Theatre Collective, the region's newest, professional theatre company, will perform Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS as its second production of the year. CATS is set for three performances to take place tonight, August 24 and Saturday, August 25 at 8 pm and Sunday, August 26 at 2 pm at the Stephen J. Buck Memorial Theater at the New Hope-Solebury High School, 182 West Bridge Street in New Hope, PA.

Delaware River Theatre Collective and Fabulous Felines Cat Adoption Center to Host Cat Adoptions During CATS

The Delaware River Theatre Collective (DRTC), the region's newest professional theatre company, joins forces with the Fabulous Felines Cat Adoption Center of Lambertville, NJ during the Collective's upcoming production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. The Delaware River Theatre Collective production of Cats is set to run on Friday, August 24 and Saturday, 25 at 8 pm and Sunday, August 26 at 2 pm.
