True False Theatre, in association with The Present Company as part of the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival, present SLAUGHTERHOUSE-FIVE a new play by Daria Tavana, based on Kurt Vonnegut classic novel of the same name. The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks), in conjunction with The Present Company, will present the American premiere of The Spider, the award-winning production from Bulgarian company Theatre B+, written and directed by Dimitar Dimotrov and Jordan Slaveykov, with music by Alexander Kalanov and Jordan Borisov, as part of the 17th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - Fringe NYC, the first Bulgarian theatrical event in the 25-year history of the festival. The acclaimed Bulgarian cast will include Penko Gospodinov and Anastassia Liutova.

ELR Productions, LLC has announced that Playwright Dan Fingerman (THE AUSTERITY OF HOPE) will team up with director Christina Roussos (MAGIC TRICK) to present the world premiere of STRANDED ON MOTOR PARKWAY; a new family drama set against the backdrop of the 1986 World Series victory, August 9 - 16. In a festival known for outrageous offerings, this play is one of the more poignant and darker NY International Fringe Festival shows. The production will run at Teatro SEA, located in the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural & Educational Center at 107 Suffolk Street, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

For the sixth installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream Festival, collaborative new works company Roots and Wings will showcase eight fresh premiers divided between two programs running in repertory May 15th-19th, 2013: A "Duct Tape" Program and a "Dream" Program. Both nightly programs are anchored by one longer piece and feature three shorter new works. The festival is truly eclectic including dance, clowning, devised theatre, a multi-media show, and new plays exploring a variety of subjects all written by emerging artists. The programs will play in rotation at the Bridge Theatre @ Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor.
