The Colorado New Play Festival (CNPF) (Artistic Director Andrew Leynse) is proud to announce the full lineup of theaters, plays, playwrights for the 2019 season. Now in its 22nd season, each summer the Colorado New Play Festival brings together five creative teams who work with a major theatrical institution to create a new theatrical work.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast for The Good Book. After bringing the successful production of An Iliad to theatres around the country including Berkeley Rep, Tony Award-winner Denis O'Hare and Obie Award-winner and Associate Director Lisa Peterson are teaming up once again to unearth the all-too-human formation of the most influential book in Western history - the Bible. In addition to collaborating with O'Hare on the script, Petersen will also direct The Good Book.

This season's incarnation of the holiday tradition, which ran November 9-December 30, 2018, was the 41st consecutive mounting of the Dickens classic. Trinity Repertory Company invites the public to nominate outstanding local artists for the 2019 Rhode Island Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts. The Pell Awards' criteria include distinction in the artist's chosen field, work that significantly advances the art form and contribution to the betterment of the community, and the world at large through artistic presence and community service. Awards will be presented at the theater's gala event on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence.
