Rehearsals for Atlantic Theater Company's revival of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's musical THE THREEPENNY OPERA, directed and choreographed by visionary Martha Clarke, are now underway. The production features a celebrated cast of 14, including Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, Sophie Bortolussi, Jon David Casey, Timothy Doyle, Lilli Cooper, Rick Holmes, John Kelly, Lindsey Dietz Marchant, Sally Murphy, Tony Award nominee Mary Beth Peil, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, Emmy Award winner Michael Park, Cristina Spina and John Watkins. Elena Demyanenko & Dai Jian's BLUE ROOM Set for New York Live Arts, Now thru 2/15

New York Live Arts presents the world premiere of Elena Demyanenko and Dai Jian's Blue Room, today, February 13 - 15 at 7:30pm in the New York Live Arts Theater. Also on the bill will be the world premiere of Raw Nerves, a solo by Demyanenko in collaboration with performer Leah Morrison, and Deja Ve - As a solo, a work by Dai Jian featuring Jian and dancer Austin Selden.

Third Rail Projects' THEN SHE FELL Now On Sale Through 6/29

Third Rail Projects' critically acclaimed production of THEN SHE FELL, winner of the 2013 New York Dance and Performance Award (Bessie) for Outstanding Production, continues to take audiences down the rabbit hole in 2014. This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). It is written, directed, designed and choreographed by Zach Morris, Tom Pearson and Jennine Willett and in collaboration with The Company. Performances of this open-ended run take place at The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old institutional building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that allows the action to play out on 3 floors. Tickets are now on sale through June 29, 2014.

New York Live Arts begins the 2013-14 Studio Series work-in-process showings with Elena Demyanenko and Dai Jian's collaborative work, Blue Room, tonight and tomorrow, October 4th and 5th at 6:00pm, in the third floor studios at New York Live Arts. A 2013-14 Dance Theater Workshop Commissioning Fund Commission, the Studio Series showing of Blue Room will precede the world premiere of the complete work to be shown in New York Live Arts' Theater in February 2014.

Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) welcomes back Tami Stronach Dance to the 2012-2013 DNA PRESENTS season to present the world premiere of Me and Not Me, a duet which first debuted as a work in progress during DNA PRESENTS' OBject.obJECT series in 2009. The program also includes repertory favorite Mother Tongue, a solo danced by Stronach, and Closer, a piece currently in the making, which uses video cameras strapped to the dancers' bodies to provide the audience with alternative viewpoints. Performances are tonight, September 19-22. All shows are at 7:30 p.m.
