School of Rock to Present 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Tribute, 3/16

School of Rock is sending some of its most talented AllStars, acclaimed as some of the best young musicians in the world, to perform a benefit concert in honor of the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees. Nearly 20 students from 5 nearby schools - New York City, Tenafly, Chatham, Montclair and East Brunswick - will be rocking out to the classics made famous by newly inducted Hall of Fame rockers Nirvana, Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt. School of Rock will also be donating 50 percent of ticket proceeds to the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center to benefit the local programs and patients.

In her most daring and revealing project to date, five-time Grammy nominee, Tierney Sutton, pays homage to the revered pop singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell in After Blue: The Joni Mitchell Project. Sutton puts her unique stamp on Joni Mitchell tunes going back to "Both Sides Now" and "Big Yellow Taxi" to more recent numbers like "The Dry Cleaner from Des Moines," "Be Cool," and "Don't Go to Strangers." Collaborating with Tierney this evening is Mark Summer on cello and Serge Merlaud on guitar.

City Winery Napa at the Historic Napa Valley Opera House hased announce the much-anticipated artist lineup from the soft launch in April through June 2014. New this year, the opening night concert will befree, in the David Rubenstein Atrium, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. 'Live From Lincoln Center,' the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot four of the first week's American Songbook concerts in The Allen Room: by James Naughton, Lawrence Brownlee, Jason Isbell, and Patina Miller. These performances will be broadcast nationally beginning in Spring 2014. In addition, American Songbook concerts taking place in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center will be live-streamed via http://watch.lincolncenter.org.
