For many high school students, just the dream of seeing a Broadway show is something pretty awesome. Now I want you to imagine you not only being able to see the national tour of the smash hit juggernaut musical known as Hamilton onstage in the Opera House at Kennedy Center but being able to perform on that very stage on the set where it happens.

 Renaissance man Utkarsh Ambudkar follows up single “Vanity” with “Rufio,” an epic collaboration with Lin- Manuel Miranda, Dante Basco, and The Olympicks. “Rufio” plays with raw and melodic hip-hop that addresses race, the first generation immigrant experience, politics, Hollywood and more from a fresh and infectious perspective. 

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to present an encore presentation of Fancy Nancy, The Musical as part of its fourth TYA Family Season. Book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Danny Abosch and directed by Alex Bueno, based on original staging by Kelly Todd, Fancy Nancy, the Musical will preview from October 5 through October 7; regular performances will begin October 7th and continue through October 28 on the Cripe Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Lyric Stage Company opens its 44th season with the Tony Award-winning (seven, including Best Musical) KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, directed and choreographed by Rachel Bertone, with music direction by Dan Rodriguez, who gets pizazz and a far bigger sound than anyone would expect from a five-piece orchestra. The show is almost entirely sung-through, and the Kander and Ebb score is outstanding, given its due by a cadre of vocalists who make each song better than the last. Eddy Cavazos and Taavon Gamble are impressive in their debuts at Lyric Stage.

With 'Hamilton' fever due to strike Boston in mid-September, Lexington Historical Society has come up with a way for the whole community to be in The Room Where It Happens.

National Geographic, Fox 21 Television Studios and Scott Free Productions today announced the cast joining previously announced Julianna Margulies ('The Good Wife,' 'ER') in THE HOT ZONE, based on the eponymous international best-seller by Richard Preston. Noah Emmerich ('The Americans'), Liam Cunningham ('Game of Thrones'), Topher Grace ('Blackkklansman'), Paul James ('The Path'), Nick Searcy ('The Shape of Water'), Robert Wisdom ('The Wire') and Robert Sean Leonard ('House') will all star in the six-episode global miniseries inspired by the terrifying true story of the origins of the Ebola virus and its first arrival on U.S. soil in 1989. James D'Arcy ('Homeland') joins the cast as a series guest star. Production begins today in Toronto and will also shoot in South Africa in early December. THE HOT ZONE will premiere globally on National Geographic in 2019.

In coordination with Mosaic Youth Theatre and Mid Town Detroit, Inc, Broadway In Detroit will celebrate the start of its exciting 2018-19 season with a special event - "HAMILTUNES."  This public sing-along will be held on Friday, September 21 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. in New Center Park, located at 2998 West Grand Boulevard, in Detroit, directly across from the Fisher Theatre.

The lives of Charlotte (Natasha Barnes), Emily (Siobhan Athwal), Anne (Molly Lynch), and Branwell (Matthew Jacob Morgan) are turned into a headbanging musical in the resurgence of stage retellings of history.

The Philly POPS will make its 40th Anniversary Season debut with performances by Broadway star Leslie Odom Jr. on September 28, 29 and 30 at the Kimmel Center. 

Sony Pictures Animation and Nelvana have announced the second-season renewal of the hit animated comedy Hotel Transylvania: The Series. Disney Channel in the U.S. and their global territories, and TELETOON Canada, a network owned by Nelvana parent company Corus Entertainment, are set to broadcast the new episodes.  

“Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations” all-new podcast features an exclusive interview with iconic designer Ralph Lauren, who recently celebrated his 50th Anniversary Collection at New York's Fashion Week. Part one of the interview is available on Wednesday, September 12, on Apple Podcasts (ApplePodcasts.com/OprahSuperSoul) and other podcast platforms. Part two will be available on Monday, September 17. Schimmel Center presents Hamilton star Mandy Gonzalez in a solo show on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. as part of its 2018-19 Season Launch Weekend.

New Light Theater Project, in association with Luis A. Miranda Jr., is thrilled to present the New York premiere of MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION by Owen Panettieri, directed by Anais Koivisto. MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION begins performances Saturday,September 8 for a limited engagement through Saturday, September 22.
