The Falcon Theatre has announced the casting for the second production of its 2016-2017 Season. Emmy Award-winning television host and Broadway singer/performer, Jai Rodriguez has been cast to play Alex More in Buyer & Cellar written by Jonathan Tolins and directed by Dimitri Toscas. Rodriguez starred opposite Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin in ABC's comedy Malibu, portrayed 'Angel' in the Broadway musical Rent, and is best known for his role in Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

The 2016 season for the State Theatre of North Carolina will continue with the modern musical comedy Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, which will run from July 28th through August 20th at the Clyde & Nina Allen Mainstage in the village of Flat Rock.

?Due to popular demand, A Red Orchid Theatre adds six performances to the run of the world premiere of Sender by Ike Holter, directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray. Featuring Ensemble Member Steve Haggard, the cast of Sender also includes McKenzie Chinn, Mary Williamson and Steven Wilson.
