Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tony & Grammy award-winning creator & composer of hit Broadway musical In The Heights hosted The Hispanic Federation's 20th Anniversary Gala as the organization honored five Latino trailblazers including Miranda's mentor and father Luis A. Miranda, founding president of the Hispanic Federation; Nina Garcia, the New York Times Best-Selling author and judge on hit show Project Runway, Angel Sánchez; world-renowned Latin American fashion designer; Mike Fernandez, Vice-President of State Farm Insurance; Willie Colon, internationally acclaimed recording artist and humanitarian. The night of celebration, held at the Waldorf Astoria, included a special performance by Willie Colon. Project Runway star Tim Gunn also made a special appearance, alongside Broadway stars Corbin Bleu and Karen Olivio. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the evening's starry arrivals.
