It's time to play the music... again! After two sold-out shows last summer, 54 Celebrates The Muppets is back.

This week the Broadwaysted Crew is so excited to sit down and pour out some laughs with Broadway's Lilli Cooper! We're mixing mezcal with club soda and lime while Lilli spills about her experience performing in THE WILDERNESS, her 'Bikini Bottom Days' in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, and her epic journey with WICKED- including the time she went on for Elphaba in the middle of the show!

WP Theater (formerly Women's Project Theater), under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Michael Sag, has announced WP Theater's 32nd Annual Gala, honoring game-changing women with the Women of Achievement Awards. The gala will honor Emmy Award-winning actress and activist Debra Messing ('Will & Grace,' Outside Mullingar) and trailblazing media executive, President of BBC Worldwide North America, Ann M. Sarnoff.

Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), Kevin Smith Kirkwood (Kinky Boots; Classic Whitney: Alive!), Denis Lambert (Doctor Zhivago; A Chorus Line), Sharone Sayegh (The Band's Visit; Mamma Mia), and Ari'el Stachel (The Band's Visit) join the cast of The Broadway Villains Party: Icy Hearts Club Edition at Feinstein's/54 Below.

JAG Productions is pleased to announce JAGFest, an annual festival that showcases and celebrates new plays by emerging playwrights of color. Presented February 24 - 27 at various venues in Woodstock & Pomfret, VT, the weekend-long festival of play readings and lectures celebrates and explores diverse, new voices in American theater. JAGFest will include four staged readings over the course of four days, each featuring a post-show conversation with the playwrights, actors, and directors.

George Street Playhouse has announced that the new musical comedy Curvy Widow, starring Broadway's Nancy Opel (GSP's The Toxic Avenger, Broadway's Honeymoon in Vegas), will be the fifth and final show of the New Brunswick theatre's 2016-17 season.  The show runs May 2-21, 2017, with opening night scheduled for May 5, 2017.

This February, Feinstein's/54 Below celebrates the winter season's most anticipated evenings with special celebrations that will delight lovers (and their foes), thrill film aficionados, and provide an alternative for those looking to escape Super Bowl Sunday.

Ars Nova and WP Theater are pleased to present the world premiere of Sundown, Yellow Moon (February 28-April 1), a nighttime play, with songs, by Rachel Bonds, directed by Anne Kauffman (OBIE and Drama Desk Award winner), with songs by the indie-folk duo The Bengsons (Hundred Days) and additional lyrics by Bonds.

Artists for World Peace, a nonprofit organization, will host its 6th annual Broadway event on Sunday, February 19th, at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, Manhattan, New York.

On January 24, 2017 composer and orchestrator, Lynne Shankel will release her debut album as a songwriter, BARE NAKED which will feature 21 of her original songs including songs she wrote with lyricist Jon Hartmere for bare: The Musical, which played at New World Stages in 2012.

This is the final week to see Keen Company's acclaimed new production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...BOOM! After a historic (for Keen Company!) 11-week run, Tick, Tick...BOOM! will play its final performance this Sunday, December 18th.

Beginning November 22nd, Lilli Cooper, seen on Broadway in Spring Awakening and Wicked, has taken over the role of Susan, joining Nick Blaemire and George Salazar.
