Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein recently announced that Keen's acclaimed new production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...BOOM! would play an extended run through December 18th. Beginning tonight, November 22nd, Lilli Cooper, seen on Broadway in Spring Awakening and Wicked, will take over the role of Susan.

The new musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 just had a starry Broadway opening last night, at the Imperial Theatre. Featuring the Broadway debuts of 24 cast and creative team members, including Josh Groban as 'Pierre' and Denee Benton as 'Natasha,' the new musical is created by Dave Malloy(Ghost Quartet, Preludes) and directed by Rachel Chavkin(Hadestown, Artistic Director of The TEAM), also making their Broadway debuts.

Ciara Renee will play her final performance on November 20th. Beginning November 22nd, Lilli Cooper, seen on Broadway in Spring Awakening and Wicked, will take over the role of Susan.

On September 16th, 2016 Masterworks Broadway released the World Premiere Recording of the award winning new hit Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical. Written by Douglas Lyons, Melvin Tunstall, III and Greg Borowsky, Polkadots is a new musical inspired by the true events of the Civil Rights pioneers Ruby Bridges and The Little Rock Nine. The album's release was celebrated in a concert presentation at The Lindeman (508 w42) on Monday Oct 24th, 2016.

The three-time New York Innovative Theatre Award winning Theatre C will present a concert of songs from the acclaimed folk-indie-rock musical On the Eve by Shawn Magill, Seth Magill and Michael Federico at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) tonight, October 19, 2016 at 10:00 PM.

The full lineup is set for the 13th installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, Broadway Sings Beyonce, which will feature completely new arrangements of her record-breaking hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. Newly announced performers for the concert include Tony Nominee Charl Brown (Motown), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Lesli Margherita (Matilda The Musical), and Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots).

Roundabout Theatre Company's new production of The Cherry Orchard, starring Diane Lane, Chuck Cooper, Tavi Gevinson, John Glover, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Harold Perrineau and Joel Grey, officially opened just last night, October 16, 2016. This is a limited engagement through December 4, 2016 on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street).
