Newsies, the Tony Award® winning "Critics' Pick," is pleased to announce that Jeremy Greenbaum will temporarily join the cast in the role of Davey beginning with this evening's performance and will play the role throughSunday, May 18, 2014. He steps in for Ben Fankhauser, who originated the role. Greenbaum makes his Broadway debut in the hit musical, marking the 29th such debut since Newsies opened on Broadway in 2012.

The show received 23 major theatrical nominations - including eight Tony Award nods - and won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Score and Choreography. Newsies, The Tony Award-winning show celebrates two years on Broadway March 29th at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street, New York City) with gifts and one of a kind audience experiences.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Newsies just welcomed Liana Hunt to the role of the show's leading lady Katherine Plumber earlier this month. Kara Lindsay, who created the role, departed the production on Sunday, February 2nd. Following her first week in the role, Hunt chatted with BroadwayWorld about what it was like to officially step into leading lady shoes, how she got the news that she got the role, and more. Collaborative Arts Project 21, America's Musical Theatre Conservatory and Theatre Company (CAP21) and Molloy College have established a one-of-a-kind partnership. CAP21 is in residency at Molloy College, and to inaugurate the residency, both institutions are developing a four year BFA Theatre Arts Degree Program that will combine CAP21's 20 years of experience in training musical theatre actors and Molloy College's renowned academic programming.

They were thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 3: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they didn't know what they'd be singing before they stepped up to the microphone.
