Silver Pictures and Studiocanal announce the start of principal photography of the international action thriller THE GUNMAN. Starring Sean Penn, the project unites the two time Academy Award winning actor with an extraordinary, unconventional ensemble cast including Javier Bardem, Idris Elba, Ray Winstone, Mark Rylance and Jasmine Trinca. Directed by acclaimed French helmer Pierre Morel, the compelling script is written by Peter Travis and is based on the novel The Prone Gunman by Jean-Patrick Manchette. Joel Silver and Andrew Rona are producing through Silver Pictures, with Sean Penn. The film is fully financed by Studiocanal who handles worldwide sales and will distribute it in its four territories. It is the second collaboration this year between Silver Pictures and Studiocanal after NON-STOP. THE GUNMAN will shoot mainly in Barcelona, Spain and London.

Interactive Entertainment and TT Games today announced that The LEGO Movie Videogame will be available in 2014 alongside the much-anticipated 'The LEGO Movie,' from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, and a toy collection of 'The LEGO Movie' building sets.

Neil Patrick Harris will star in the Broadway premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH in the Spring of 2014. MCC THEATER today announced that James Badge Dale (World War Z, HBO's The Pacific), James Ransone (HBO's 'The Wire') will replace Jon Bernthal and Christopher Fitzgerald in the New York Premiere of John Pollono's celebrated Small Engine Repair. Keegan Allen ('Pretty Little Liars') has also joined the cast. Small Engine Repair is the comic thriller that premiered to rave reviews and sold-out audiences at L.A.'s Rogue Machine Theatre, where it won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for Playwriting, among many other honors. The New York production of Small Engine Repair will be directed by longtime MCC collaborator Jo Bonney (MCC's The Break of Noon, Some Girl(s), Fat Pig) and begins at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on October 30, 2013. An official opening night is set for November 18, 2013.

From Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, LIFE'S TOO SHORT SPECIAL will wrap up the story of actor Warwick Davis, a little person trying to hustle his way back into the spotlight, when it debuts today, JULY 5, exclusively on HBO. Davis reprises his role as a fictionalized version of himself in the follow-up to the HBO comedy series.

Harewood, who played CIA chief David Estes in two seasons of the Showtime series 'Homeland,' will play the Fairy King in the Off-Broadway production at Theatre for a New Audience in Brooklyn. Performances begin Oct. 19, prior to an official opening Nov. 2.
