Los Angeles Master Chorale's Voices Within Oratorio Project, now in its 10th year, culminates in the digital premiere of Naia: The Spirit of Hoyo Negro, an original oratorio written by approximately 80 Van Nuys High School students who participated in the 20-week program remotely and virtually during the 2020-21 academic school year.

In the absence of being able to gather in person due to the current health crisis, the Master Chorale has created a special virtual version of the festival, to be held online.

Requiem: This Earth, Our Home, a timely new oratorio written by Van Nuys High School students for the Los Angeles Master Chorale's Voices Within Oratorio Project, will be premiered by students and members of the Master Chorale on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th in the school's auditorium. The Friday performance will be for fellow students; Saturday's performance at 1:00 p.m. is a free community concert and open to the public.
