The Old Globe is delighted to welcome one of the true geniuses of the American theatre, Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, who makes her long-awaited San Diego directing debut with an enchanting theatrical spectacle with live music and sumptuous visuals, The White Snake, continuing the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. The Southern California Premiere of The White Snake, written and directed by Zimmerman, will run now through April 26 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Opening night is tonight, March 26 at 8:00 p.m.

The Mexican Museum, the premier West Coast museum of Mexican, Mexican-American, Chicano, Latin American and Latino art, culture and heritage, announces a new spring 2015 exhibition entitled 'Maestros: 20th Century Mexican Masters,' which will feature a dramatic selection of artworks from the Museum's permanent collections. The special exhibition will include the works of 30 internationally-renowned artists, beginning with the three most influential Mexican artists: Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and Jose Clemente Orozco.

Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) will showcase three superb choral ensembles in an all-a cappella program at Weill Hall tonight, March 13 at 8:00pm. Hailing from Canada are the Grammy-nominated Elora Festival Singers, and Le Chœur de chambre du Québec, which specializes in contemporary French-language works. And, from Buffalo, New York, the Harmonia Chamber Singers, who are noted for their innovative programming and stunning performances.

The Public Theater announced today that Richard Nelson's award-winning THE APPLE FAMILY PLAYS: SCENES FROM LIFE IN THE COUNTRY will tour Europe for five weeks beginning April 23 at The Find Festival in Berlin. The other tour venues include The May International Festival in Weisbaden, Germany; The Brighton Festival in the United Kingdom; and the Vienna Festival in Austria where the tour will conclude on May 23. The tour is being produced by David Eden, Executive Producer for David Eden Productions, and co-produced and general managed by Tim Smith for Pemberley Productions.
