Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced casting today for Dreamgirls, the Tony Award-winning musical which opens Saturday, September 26 and runs from September 22 - November 1, 2015 in The Rep's Quadracci Powerhouse.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 2014/15 Quadracci Powerhouse Season kicks off in grand style with an uplifting production of The Color Purple. This hit musical, based on Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, will be directed by Artistic Director Mark Clements, who reunites with the same creative team behind last season's wildly successful hit production of Ragtime. This will be the fifth musical that Clements has directed at The Rep.

Today, IDEAL ENTERTAINMENT, INC. will present two staged presentation of WRAPPED as part of New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYFM) Reading Series.

Casting has been announced for Goodspeed Musicals' swashbuckling next show. Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates on Penzance will be performed at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT from October 6th through December 10th
