A glittering evening of new British musical theatre will be unveiled at the inaugural The S&S AWARD, the award presented to the best, yet to be produced musical of the year. With West End stars performing the winning and highly commended musicals at the St James Theatre, London on Sunday 24 November.

Big West End showstoppers Once, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Book of Mormon are leading the way, with the competition just as tight for the fringe categories - Chichester's The Pajama Game and Southwark Playhouse's Titanic are also garnering the votes at the moment.

With top names already announced, the first LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET continues to attract more exciting performers to their roster, and they will perform throughout the exceptional month long Festival, setting London alive with the sound of Cabaret at its Songbook best. The recent revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway mega-hit A CHORUS LINE in the West End closed short of its anticipated limited run earlier this month, yet the production lives on via the stories of its cast members in a fascinating and very meta new documentary on the production and its players, OFF THE LINE.

Dress Circle posted news today that the 2013 West End revival of A Chorus Line is getting an original cast recording! The album is set for release on September 16th, 2013. Tracklisting to follow.

Producers today announced that the revival of A Chorus Line will close on Saturday August 31, following a critically acclaimed six month run at the London Palladium. Leigh Zimmerman (Sheila) won Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical and the production was nominated for Best Musical Revival at this year's Laurence Olivier Awards.
