The revival of A Chorus Line at the world famous London Palladium has received nominations for Best Musical Revival and Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Leigh Zimmerman (Sheila) in this year's Laurence Olivier Awards.
The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time leads the list with eight nominations, followed by the toe-tapping new musical Top Hat receiving seven, and the West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's revival of Sweeney Todd in close competition with six. Other stand-out nominations include The Audience and Kiss Me, Kate receiving five each, and Constellations, The Bodyguard and Twelfth Night with four.
A Chorus Line hasn't been performed in the West End since the original London production closed in 1979, making its first revival one of 2013's most anticipated theatrical events.
For the first time since its first London season, which opened in 1976 and won the Olivier Award for Best Musical, a full London revival of the Broadway production A CHORUS LINE will be staged at the London Palladium. The production is currently in previews to prepare for press night on Tuesday, February 19th. The season will be strictly limited, running through until June 29th.

According to the Daily Mail, after an open audition, Alice Jane Murray of Kent has been cast as 'Lois', and Marc Leslie will play the role of 'Roy' in the London Palladium production of A Chorus Line. Casting is now complete and rehearsals have begun to prepare for the show's February 19th opening.
