DESTINY'S CHILD Star Williams Set for West End Debut as 'Roxie' in CHICAGO

Michelle Williams will make her West End stage debut starring as ?Roxie Hart' in the smash hit West End musical 'CHICAGO' at the Cambridge Theatre from Monday 13 July until 22 August. Michelle Williams, the Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, record producer and actress, rose to fame as one third of Destiny's Child. Destiny's Child, comprising Michelle Williams, Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland, is the top selling female group of all time.

'The Producers' Closes Las Vegas Run with Danza Feb. 9

The Las Vegas production of Mel Brooks' 12-time Tony Award-winning musical, The Producers is announced to close at the Paris on February 9, 2008. Tony Danza will continue to portray down-on-his-luck theatrical producer Max Bialystock through the remainder of the production's run.

Mel Brooks's The Producers closes at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane after playing its final performance on 6th January, after its run of more than two years. Performances at the London venue began back in October 2004, with the production winning the 2005 Laurence Olivier awards for Best New Musical and Best Actor in a Musical (Nathan Lane) along with nominations for Best Actress in a Musical (Leigh Zimmerman), Best Actor in a Musical (Lee Evans), Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical (Conleth Hill), Best Director (Susan Stroman) and Best Theatre Choreographer (Susan Stroman).
