Directed by world renowned director/choreographer Arlene Phillips,"27" is an intoxicating modern fable of our time, a dark interpretation of one of humanity's oldest stories. It has music, book and lyrics and is co-directed by Sam Cassidy.
The magic of Venice was in the air at Shakespeare & Company last night. After a stirring performance of The Merchant of Venice, directed by Tina Packer in the Tina Packer Playhouse, it was cocktails, dinner, and dancing under the stars on the beautiful campus of Shakespeare & Company. Guests mingled with actors and dignitaries at the annual Gala and BroadwayWorld was there. The play runs through August 21st. Check out the photos below.

Inspired by a true story, Six Degrees of Separation follows the trail of a young African-American con man who insinuates himself into the lives of a wealthy, white New York couple, claiming he is the son of actor Sidney Poitier, and that he has just been mugged and all his money is gone. No subject is left untouched in this comic, fast-paced and affecting piece. Six Degrees is directed by Stuart Bousel, who directed last season's award-winning Grey Gardens. Lola Saunders, a finalist on The X Factor 2014, will make her theatrical debut in the role of Jennifer starring alongside previously announced Antony Costa as Milton, with Wayne Robinson as Curtis and Elizabeth Carter returning to the role of Marie.
