Broadway Grand Rapids today announced that all shows on the 2011-12 season will be on sale to the public on Sunday, September 18th at 9am. Shows going on sale include Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Million Dollar Quartet, RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles, Mary Poppins, The Addams Family and CATS. An American favorite for his award-winning role in the hit TV series House, the versatile British actor Hugh Laurie showcases his musical side in an atmospheric personal odyssey filmed on location in New Orleans.

Million Dollar Quartet, now in its third year, continues performances through December 31, 2011 as new cast members Brandon Bennett (Elvis Presley), Heather Marie Marsden (Dyanne) Brad Ber (Jay Perkins/Bass player) and Dan Leali (Fluke/Drummer) join Gabe Bowling (Carl Perkins), Lance Lipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis), Sean Sullivan (Johnny Cash) and Tim Decker (Sam Phillips) for the hit show. Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Broadway musical inspired by the electrifying true story of four rock ‘n' roll icons. Portraying these icons are, Derek Keeling as Johnny Cash, Cody Slaughter as Elvis Presley, Martin Kaye as Jerry Lee Lewis and Lee Ferris as Carl Perkins. Christopher Ryan Grant will play the 'Father of Rock ‘n' Roll,' Sam Phillips. The cast also features Kelly Lamont as Dyanne, and musicians Billy Shaffer (Fluke, drums), and Chuck Zayas (Jay Perkins, bass).

Appearing at The Ford Amphitheatre as part of Chris Isaacson Presents New York's Finest - The Leading Men of Broadway concert September 16, Tony Award winner, singing sensation Levi Kreis is on his way to becoming one of our nation's top hit vocalists. New York's Finest: The Leading Men of Broadway will star (in alphabetical order) David Burnham, Brandon Victor Dixon, Sam Harris, Chad Kimball, Levi Kreis, and Ace Young. Harris will direct, and the music director is Brent Crayon.

The Guthrie Theater's splash-hit production of Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore boasts new musical arrangements by Andrew Cooke that borrow inspiration from disco, jazz and rock opera, which he argues help modern audiences appreciate the humor in the libretto. Captained by Guthrie Artistic Director Joe Dowling, and featuring 'sumptuous costumes' by Fabio Toblini and 'arresting choreography' by David Bolger, the Guthrie's production of H.M.S. Pinafore has entertained audiences and critics alike with its 'continuous parade of stunning song-and-dance sequences.' The creative team also includes Frank Hallinan Flood (Set Designer), Malcolm Rippeth (Lighting Designer) and Scott W. Edwards (Sound Designer).
