Before Lee DeWyze became an Idol on America's favorite singing contest, he wrote and recorded two albums in his hometown with an all star band including Louis Svitek, previously of Ministry, MOD and Mind Funk, Rob Bonaccorsi, from Freddy Jones Band and Ryan McGuire. Wuli is proud to announce a new collaboration with Universal Music Group/Fontana Distribution to bring these two albums to a broader audience so that fans can discover the rawness of Lee's early work. 'Slumberland', the first release of this new partnership is available today on iTunes and retailers nationwide. A remixed and remastered version of the album 'So I'm Told' will be available November 9. Wuli also has a limited number of raw video footage of Lee available to broadcast outlets and select web venues.

On August 28 The Cheesecake Factory presented the kick off of Feeding America's Hunger Action Month at James Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. TEEN CHOICE 2010, the annual special that celebrates the year's hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion, will air Monday, August 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Nigel Lythgoe will return to his role as an executive producer of 'American Idol' for the show's tenth season, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Lythgoe, who was an executive producer during the show's first seven seasons, will be one of four executive producers, along with Simon Fuller, Cecile Frot-Coutaz and Ken Warwick.

Yesterday, July 1, the American Idol season 9 top 10 finalists will be touring North America as part of their 2010 American Idol Live! tour. The tour began yesterday with a concert at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The American Idol season 9 top 10 finalists will be making 49 stops this summer. The winner of season 9 was Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox was the runner-up.

The 'American Idol Live!' tour begins today in Auburn Hills, Michigan, the official 'American Idol' website announces. According to The New York Times Blog the next season of American Idol will allow hopefuls as young as 15 to audition for the show. The max age remains 28. In past seasons the youngest contestants have been 16.
