2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center will present the world premiere of Hood: The Robin Hood Musical Adventure, a new musical comedy written and directed by five-time Tony-nominated playwright Douglas Carter Beane with music and lyrics by Lewis Flinn.
Fiddler On The Roof's Neva Small will be joining Feinstein's/54 Below's concert presentation of Charles Strouse and Lee Adams' A BROADWAY MUSICAL on Sunday July 16th, at 7pm and 9:30pm.
Members of the original Broadway company of Charles Strouse and Lee Adams' A BROADWAY MUSICAL , which only played one night on Broadway in 1978, will reunite for a concert presentation of the musical at Feinstein's/54 Below on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at 7pm & 9:30pm.
Sheldon Harnick wrote the words for the songs in Fiddler, The Rothchilds, and lyrics for many other historic tunes, but he also wrote the words in a new book of photographs by his wife Margery Gray and son Matt Harnick. The book was launched at a party attended by lots of his Broadway friends at TAO in NYC and Broadwayworld was there. Like his songs, the photographs in KOI are a thing of beauty and create wonderful feelings.

The Museum of Modern Art and MoMA PS1 announce the opening of WENDY, the HWKN (Hollwich Kushner)-designed winner of the annual Young Architects Program (YAP) in New York.
A panel of prominent American playwrights including Kia Corthron, Lisa Kron and Adam Rapp, will discuss with celebrated photographer Ken Collins how they approach creating portraits with words and with a camera, respectively at a one-time-only event entitled 'Face to Face: Portraits in Theatre and Photography' on Monday, October 26 at 7 p.m. at New Dramatists (424 W. 44 St.) in Manhattan. Presented by the Off-Broadway theater company, The Play Company as part of its Idea Lab series, in conjunction with Umbrage Editions, the evening will also feature brief excerpts from the playwrights' work along with an exhibition of photographs from 'In Their Company,' a series of black and white portraits by Mr. Collins that portray some of America's most distinguished playwrights. A reception follows in the New Dramatists Library.
