AMC announced today from Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, CA the premiere of 'The Walking Dead' Season 3 on Sunday, October 14 at 9pm ET/PT. As previously announced, the series' third season will consist of 16 episodes. Season three will also air in two-parts with the first eight hours kicking off October 14 and returning February 2013 with the final eight episodes.

AMC has announced that it will present a WALKING DEAD New Year's Eve Marathon, beginning with the series pilot episode, 'Days Gone By', and ending with Season 2's midseason finale.
