After being forced to postpone the world premier of her lastest piece, THE JACKIE LOOK at the Country Club due to the venue's closing this fall, performance artist Karen Finley will now debut the piece at the Laurie Beechman on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30pm. The multimedia show will run consecutive Saturdays at 7:30pm from January 23 - February 27.

KAREN FINLEY, the most controversial woman in performance today, will premiere her latest work THE JACKIE LOOK beginning January 23, 2010 at The Laurie Beechman Theater. Originally developed as a site-specific multimedia production for Country Club, the initial September 2009 run was cancelled when the venue suddenly and unexpectedly shuttered. Opening night is slated for January 30, 2010.

Michael Rubinoff and Mark Selby present the return of TONY AWARD-WINNER JASON ROBERT BROWN on Monday, November 23, 8PM at the Glenn Gould Studio in the CBC Broadcasting Centre, 250 Front St. W. Backed by his band the Caucasian Rhythm Kings, the evening will feature songs from his award winning and internationally performed musicals SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, PARADE, LAST FIVE YEARS and 13, his solo album Wearing Someone Else's Clothes and some new material. Brown will be joined by the Toronto Youth Music Theatre Company Choir and some outstanding Canadian talent to be announced.

The 2009 MAC and Bistro award winning series Cabaret Cares will play its final performance of 2009. The evening entitled The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,will feature performances by some of the best performers from Broadway and cabaret. Cabaret Cares is the ongoing series that help raise funds for Help Is On The Way Today. A non-for-profit that helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS.

A Little New Music, a new concert, will debut Tuesday, December 8 at 9:30pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The concert, directed by Eve Rybnick and featuring musical direction by Zak Sandler, stars Natalie Bradshaw, Steven Booth, Jaclyn Huberman, Felicia Ricci, James Sasser, Justin Sayre, and Nick Spangler.
