Celebrated nightclub singer Marta Sanders returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, in "Follow Me," her new show that was seen in a short run last year.  With Mark Nadler directing, the upcoming four-week major engagement of "Follow Me" performs on Thursday February 2; Saturday February 11; Thursday February 16, and Saturday February 25, all at 7pm.

The Wick Theatre will present the timeless and groundbreaking 1957 Broadway smash, West Side Story. This season's most requested production has already been extended and will run January 12 - February 26, 2017. The gala opening night is set for Saturday, January 14.

'Not every drag queen can belt that high.' Throwing out that quip early on in CHRISTMAS MOURNING at the Laurie Beechman Theatre during the December 15 show, Jinkx Monsoon isn't wrong. It's part of what makes the RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE star, otherwise known as Jerick Hoffer, a rare bird: a genuine talent, a winner, and yet someone who seems to be underestimated and underrated at every turn, even nearly four years after their winning run on the show's fifth season.

And of course, our signature 12 Days of Christmas!

KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler brought their show "Almost Like Being In Love" to the Laurie Beechman Theatre last night and BroadwayWorld was there.

ITALIAN BRED comes to the West Coast after a successful Off Broadway NYC run with Sold-Out Crowds and Rave Reviews. After several, standing room only performances at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, Italian Bred moves to The Colony Theatre in Burbank to accommodate the frequent large crowds.

The night was 'sweet' indeed recently as Broadway Sessions welcomed cast members from The New Group's hit revival of Sweet Charity. Cast members Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Joel Perez, Donald Jones Jr., James Brown III and Cody Williams performed, told stories and delighted the audience. The evening also featured performance by vocalist Leeanna Rubin. Enjoy highlights here!

Well, here we are friends, smack dab in the middle of the holiday season. And some of us pack more Christmas into a day than other do all season. That's why we recently invited cast members from a certain "Spectacular" to join us for an evening of "non holiday" themed music and stories. We all know that Broadway can be a fickle lady from time to time, tossing shows to and fro. Last season's Shuffle Along was critically lauded and ten times nominated for Tonys and then it was gone. Poof. I'm sure many of us have read articles about the whys and wherefores, but the fact is the show was great and filled with amazing talent. We wrangled some Shuffle alums together for an unforgettable night of music, laughs and TAP DANCING!!!! The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present Trans Scripts, Part I: The Women, written by Paul Lucas and directed by Jo Bonney. Performances begin on Thursday, January 19 and run through Sunday, February 5 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle St, Cambridge.
