Tonight, February 23rd, Broadway Sessions will celebrate Black History Month focusing on African American themes, characters, music, moments and impact on musical theatre's past and present and future featuring a starry roster of Broadway veterans.

The Laurie Beechman Theater continues its reign as The Happiest Place on Earth as DISTORTED DIZNEE celebrates its milestone 5th Anniversary on Friday, March 10, 2017. This non-stop, high-energy late night cult hit currently stars drag sensations Holly Dae, Bootsie LeFaris, Pixie Aventura and Brenda Dharling.

Charles Osborne's Trumped-Up Birthday Fever Dream: And Other Alternative Facts, a new musical, will premiere Wednesday March 1st at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City, in a one-night only event to raise money for the ACLU.

Unstoppable Theater will give audiences a rare glimpse into the Seventh Circle--Hell's dingiest cabaret venue--as it presents Sean Patrick Monahan in Monahan & Oyen's DIVA: LIVE FROM HELL, a devilish new musical directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell) that charts a high school musical nerd's descent into madness, March 23rd - April 9th at Theater for the New City's Community Space Theater.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. 

The Broadway community is nothing if not a family. I was honored recently to welcome my family, my  #WAMFAM to Broadway Sessions. WAM= Whole Artist Management. Spearheaded by Rich Martino and Mike Cruz, WAM boasts a talented and diverse roster which brought us performers from Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bridges of Madison County, Bullets Over Broadway, Great Comet, Avenue Q, A Christmas Story, Wicked, Rock of Ages, Three Penny Opera, The Color Purple and more. And they sure did put the WAM in WAM BAM THANK YOU, um, BROADWAY.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced today its second class of Emerging Artists, recognizing diverse talents, from a visionary filmmaker to world-class musicians to a singer-songwriter currently starring on Broadway.

Presented by The Metropolitan Room and Suzanne Dressler, SONGS FOR JUSTICE will feature the talents of over a dozen performers, all gathering to show their support for The American Civil Liberties Union.

Zachary Clause proudly announces upcoming performances of his drag cabaret comedy, Is That All There Is? on Todays, February 15 and 22 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 W. 42nd Street).  Zachary returns to the Laurie Beechman as Sherry Duvall-Covington after a wildly popular debut at the venue last October with Sherry Takes a Holiday. After spending the last three years creating, producing, and hosting the successful recurring benefit series, Robin's Nest, performer Robin Westle, is thrilled to be re-entering the territory of the solo show with her new creation, The Adventures of Taffy Longvue, a show about finding your own FABULOUSNESS. Taffy is none other than Robin's inner drag persona, and this playful side of Westle thinks it's about time that the closeted Taffy came out into the sunlight and into her own. Taffy has a mission - and it is, of course, fabulosity for all!

Artists from the Broadway and NYC music communities will join with formerly incarcerated writers and affected family members for two emotionally-charged concerts about youth incarceration on March 12th and 13th.

It seems like just yesterday that Broadway Con was all the rage here in NYC. Thousands of theatre fans descended on the  Big Apple to bask in all things Broadway. We invited these fans to celebrate the weekend with an unofficial closing night ALL OPEN MIC PARTY! Friends who had never sung on stage before drank down some courage and took the stage, talent we hadn't had the opportunity to meet before dazzled us and some old friends showed up to show 'em how we do it here in NYC. The result is beautiful. Check out these new friends from around the country and across the globe.
