The Collaboration Project, an experimental concert uniting one lyricist with 14 other musical theatre writers, will be presented at The Triad on July 31 at 8 PM.

Elena Shaddow, Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie and Clyde), Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon) and more will sing the songs of composer-lyricist Caleb Hoyer Monday, August 8 at 7PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

On Monday, May 30, 2011, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly platform, now in its 4th year, for emerging musical theatre writers at the D-Lounge (at the Daryl Roth Theater). Featured writers for the May 2011 installment include Riley Thomas and Jonathan Larson Award winner Mike Pettry (The Time Traveler's Convention). Performers for the evening include Alex Brightman (Wicked), Carrie Manolakos (Mama Mia, Things to Ruin), Lorinda Lisitza (Triumphant Baby, ReWrite), Lauren Marcus (ReWrite), Jeremy Morse (Bloodsong of Love), Jason 'SweetTooth' Williams (Bloodsong of Love, Things To Ruin), Jenny Donoghue, Raelyn Hennessee, Jared Miller, Anthea Neri, Riley Thomas, and Miranda Whaley. Executive Producers for NYTB in the D-Lounge are Laura Brandel and Karen Marshall.

Join terraNOVA Collective February 10-12 at the Incubator Arts Project (131 East 10th Street at 2nd Avenue), for the second tier in their Groundbreakers Playwrights Group, a five month long program in which playwrights work on a specific script with intent to create a completed draft. Through its three-tired process of table reads, staged readings and main stage productions terraNOVA Collective has cultivated some of the best emerging playwrights in New York City.

On Monday, November 8, 2010 at 10pm, a cast of Broadway performers will gather to sing songs from '29,' a pop-rock song cycle with music and lyrics by award-winning composer Gaby Alter and book and additional lyrics by Tommy Newman.
