MILLER AUDITORIUM has announced that individual tickets for the West Michigan premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL will go on sale November 16th, 2022, at 10:00 A.M.

Dear Readers, I’m going to offer up a few unpopular opinions of mine. First, I’m not a huge fan of Alanis Morissette. Not that I dislike her, but her album of “Jagged Little Pill” was never my jam. And second, the jukebox musical “Jagged Little Pill”, currently playing at the Paramount Theatre, that takes on the music of Morissette has a book that can’t find who or what it wants to talk about. So instead, it talks about everyone and everything to pretentious effect.

Broadway In Detroit announced today that individual tickets for the Detroit premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL will go on sale Friday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m.

Individual tickets for the Cincinnati premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL are now on sale at Aronoff Center.

Broadway in Portland has announced the Portland premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL, playing Keller Auditorium from November 15 - 20.  Inspired by the seminal rock album of the same name by seven-time Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette (she/her), tickets to the Tony and Grammy Award-winning production are available now are available now.

The National Tour of Jagged Little Pill is making its way across the country. Heidi Blickenstaff is reprising her role from the Broadway production as Mary Jane Healy, and is joined by Lauren Chanel as Frankie Healy, Chris Hoch as Steve Healy and Dillon Klena as Nick Healy. As these projects go, the Alanis Morissette-scored JAGGED LITTLE PILL may not have entirely broken the mold of jukebox musicals, but it has sure put a dagger-sized gash in it and made it bleed.

The Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center announced that individual tickets for the Baltimore premiere of JAGGED LITTLE PILL go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 a.m. EST.

Top stories include a first look at Julie Benko as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl! Plus, Guys and Dolls at the Kennedy Center will be led by  James Monroe Iglehart, Jessie Mueller, Steven Pasquale, and Phillipa Soo!

Full casting has been announced for the national tour of Jagged Little Pill which will have its premiere September 6th in Las Vegas at Reynolds Hall. The full cast includes Heidi Blickenstaff (Mary Jane Healy), Lauren Chanel (Frankie), Chris Hoch (Steve), Dillon Klena (Nick), Jade Mcleod (Jo), Allison Sheppard (Bella), Rishi Golani (Phoenix), and more.

Once On This Island is a pretty good show, but this production is closer to great. As with the recent Broadway revival, Robert Fleming exploits the aspect of fable or folk tale at work in the story to interject thoughts of the aftermath of generations of colonialism and the state of island cultures brutalized by nature and Superpowers.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will begin the 2019-2020 season with the vibrant one-act musical, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND on Sept. 7 in the Marx Theatre. The production will run through Oct. 6, with opening night on Sept. 12.
