Adele dominated this year's Billboard Music Awards, taking home an incredible 12 awards in the following categories: Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Digital Media Artist, Top Pop Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Pop Album, Top Streaming Song (Audio) and Top Alternative Song.

Now in its 38th year, the People's Choice Awards are voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in music, movies and television. Kaley Cuoco was the host of the of the show tonight, and this year's winners have been announced!

MTV today announced the latest list of global superstar performers who will descend upon Belfast for the '2011 MTV EMA'.

The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on August at 9 PM. This year Adele, Katy Perry and Kanye West lead the pack. Katy Perry has 9 nominations while Adele and Kanye West each have 7. Following the three front runners Bruno Mars has 4, Eminem, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, 30 Seconds to Mars and Nicki Minaj all have 3 and Foster the People, Manchester Orchestra, Tyler, the Creator, Britney Spears, the Beastie Boys, Chris Brown, Pitbull and Lil Wayne all have 2 nominations.
