The 'crowd fundraising' site Kickstarter has just released is site statistics: 25,407 projects have been funded successfully on Kickstarter - and of those, 7,493 were music-related, 6,759 were film and video projects, 2,566 were art, and 1,921 were theater, amounting to almost three-quarters of all successful campaigns and totalling to over $100 million.

Victoria Clark, Harriet Harris, Ann Harada and Peter Bartlett will join Laura Osnes as Cinderella and Santino Fontana as the Prince in a workshop of the new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA August 2nd and 3rd in New York, it has been announced by the musical's producer Center Theatre Group in association with Robyn Goodman, Stephen Kocis and Jill Furman.

The Carlyle Hotel welcomed 2012 Tony Award-nominee Laura Osnes in her cabaret debut at the Café Carlyle in an exclusive two-week engagement last night, June 19. Osnes will play through Saturday, June 30. Last night, former Anything Goes co-stars Joel Grey, Colin Donnell and more came out to lend support and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op!

Currently onstage at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis is the period musical spectacular Roman Holiday. Based on the iconic film, the show features the music of Cole Porter, including hits like 'Easy to Love,' 'Begin the Beguine,' 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye' and 'Riding High', in addition to rarely heard gems that fit perfectly into the story. The production began preview performances on June 9 and opens tonight, June 15. The run is scheduled to continue through August 19 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage. Guthrie Artistic Producing Artistic Director John Miller-Stephany helms.
