Salisbury Playhouse has announced its Autumn/Winter 2017-18 season. Scroll down for details!

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has announced the full company for Meghan Kennedy's (Too Much, Too Much, Too Many) new play Napoli, Brooklyn, commissioned by Roundabout, directed by Gordon Edelstein.

The Gift Theatre, 4802 N. Milwaukee Avenue, presents the world premiere of Claire Kiechel's play Pilgrims, co-directed by Artistic Director Michael Patrick Thornton and guest artist Jessica Thebus, June 2-July 30, 2017. Press opening is on Thursday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Tony, Emmy, and two-time Golden Globe nominee Matthew Morrison will headline Westport Country Playhouse's 2017 fundraising gala on Saturday evening, September 9. New this year will be the Gala's move to Saturday evening instead of Monday night as in past seasons. The Gala's theme, 'Moonlight Over Venice,' is a nod to the Playhouse's autumn production of 'Romeo and Juliet'.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre will open its 2017/18 season with BETWEEN THE LINES, a new musical based on the best-selling book by New York Times bestselling authors Jodi Picoult and her daughter Samantha van Leer that features music and lyrics by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, book by Timothy Allen McDonald and be directed by Tony Award-nominated director Jeff Calhoun.

Artistic Director Conrad Lynch today announces the ensemble for the Theatre by the Lake's Summer Season - the first time the theatre has featured two-companies. They will perform over 5 productions in rep - After the Dance, As You Like It, Miss Julie, Handbagged and Remarkable Invisible - in both the theatre's spaces.

Due to popular demand, Shattered Globe Theatre's hit Chicago premiere of Sarah Ruhl's FOR PETER PAN ON HER 70th BIRTHDAY will add one additional week of performances, extending through May 27, 2017 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago.  Directed by Jessica Thebus, the imaginative and moving drama was written for Ruhl's mother, Kathleen Ruhl, who stars in the Shattered Globe production. Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater is thrilled to kick off the 2017 summer of theater with Sex with Strangers by Laura Eason, opening May 18 and running through June 10. Jon Kovach (Girlfriend, 2016) returns to Wellfleet as Ethan, and Nichole Hamilton makes her WHAT debut as Olivia. Sex with Strangers is directed by Jeffry George

Season Passes are on sale for as low as $80 for the Preview Pass.

Westport Country Playhouse will host a 2017 Season Kick-off Block Party, on Saturday, May 6, 4 to 7 p.m., offering a fun, party-like atmosphere with food trucks, activities, prizes, music, special ticket offers, and a look at the Playhouse's "backstage experience." Admission is free and open to the public.

Leading independent studio Entertainment One (eOne) announced today it has acquired television rights to The Rocks, the best-selling novel by Peter Nichols. Rebel and Misfits Productions is thrilled to announce 'Sex with Strangers,' its first project in a new series called 'An Intimate Theatre Project.' The provocative and timely play comes from Laura Eason (House of Cards) and will be directed by New York City's Michelle Bossy. The event runs March 30 through April 15 at a private home in the Central West End (4632 McPherson Avenue). Starting nightly at 8pm, each performance will seat a small, intimate audience of approximately 50 people.
