Costa Mesa Playhouse and Broadway Knights are pleased to present an "Audition Intensive" musical theatre workshop conducted by Broadway stars Megan Hilty (Wicked and 9 to 5) and Steve Kazee (Spamalot and 110 in the Shade) on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from Noon to 4 pm at the Costa Mesa Playhouse, 661 Hamilton Street in Costa Mesa.

Theboot.com reports that Laura Bell Bundy may be coming back to Broadway in the very near future - as both a performer and producer. The actress/country music singer recently told KILT Radio: 'I'm working on a project that will be announced soon that's for Broadway...But it's to bring country music to Broadway. I'm trying to merge those worlds together. I think a lot of Broadway musical fans, they don't realize are from the South or from middle America. That's who comes to see Broadway shows in New York. It will be really cool, so I'm excited about it. I'm a producer of it as well.'

The premiere of the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS on Wednesday, June 9 scored with 3.04 million total viewers, making it the most-watched awards premiere in channel history. According to Nielsen Media Research, the two-and-a-half hour show scored a 1.42 rating among P18-49, up 19 percent over last year with an average 1.5 million viewers in the key demo. The show's performance from 8-10:30 p.m. drove CMT to become the most-watched network in the time period across cable with P18-49 and W18-49 impressions. More than 10.8 million viewers cumulative* tuned in for all related CMT Music Awards programming, including the live Red Carpet show and encore.
