When Joey Married Bobby, starring Lady Bunny, two-time S.A.G.Award Nominee Tina McKissick and introducing former Detroit Tiger Pitcher Matthew Pender as Joey, opened on February 6, 2010 for an open-ended run at Off-Broadway house Theatre 80 St. Marks, between 1st & 2nd Avenues. In attendance at the opening night were Fred Schneider (The B-52's), Frank DeCaro (Sirius Radio), Randy Jones (The Village People), singer Athena Reich and Mike Diamond (LOGO).

On Sunday, March 28, Macy's Herald Square will launch the 36th annual Macy's Flower Show, wherein visitors will experience a floral sanctuary as the main floor of the world's largest store is transformed into a massive living garden, beginning on March 28th. The launch event will begin with a fitting salute by choreographer Twyla Tharp and the cast of Come Fly Away in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the pets on parade fashion show hosted by Lady Bunny. The festivities begin at Macy's Herald Square at 11:00am.

amfAR's tenth annual Honoring with Pride celebration was held during Lesbian and Gay Pride Month in New York on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Edison Ballroom, 240 West 47th Street, New York City. This event pays tribute to those individuals who have played a significant role in the gay and lesbian community's historic response to the AIDS crisis. Alan Cumming will host the evening of honoree tributes, fabulous food, a luxury live auction, and a special performance by the legendary Debbie Harry.
