AIDS Walk Los Angeles is the world's first fundraising event of its kind, and the event continues to keep the public engaged in the HIV/AIDS crisis. Last year, a passionate crowd of 30,000 walkers and 2,500 volunteers raised $3 million for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and advocacy programs. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $72 million to fight the disease in Los Angeles County.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today new series and returning favorites coming to the network this fall along with three new series for 2013, including 'Life with La Toya' a candid look inside the life of the outspoken Jackson sibling, 'The Customer is Always Right' a high-stakes experiment with customers as the boss, and 'Neighborvention' where communities unite to help neighbors in crisis.

Variety reports that La Toya Jackson has signed on to star in her own reality series to be broadcast on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, LaToya Jackson will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of the The CW's 90210 to air sometime in late February.

This past June marked 30 years since HIV was first identified - a discovery that took place in Los Angeles.

AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) announced today that a range of celebrities -- including Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson, Kathy Griffin, La Toya Jackson, Olivia Newton-John, Andrea Bowen, Jackie Collins, Joan Collins, Seth Green, Robert Greenblatt, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pauley Perrette, and many more - are lending their support to Art Project Los Angeles, a star-studded, charity art auction and gala benefiting APLA.

On the weekend of June 24 - 26, hundreds of bidders, along with a slate of celebrity guests, will bid on an exceptional collection of artwork, sculpture, photography, furnishings and more at the second annual Art Project Los Angeles. The event -- a premier, red-carpet charity art auction and artists reception -- is a benefit for APLA, which provides life-saving care for thousands of Angelenos living with HIV/AIDS.

On Thursday's episode of 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon', Donald Trump officially announced the 16 celebrities who will be participating in the 11th season of 'The Apprentice', his NBC show which puts contestants in various business situations to determine who would be most worthy of being Trump's apprentice.
