La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts Producing Artistic Director BT McNicholl announced today its celebratory 40th Anniversary season of truly fantastic, fabulous and phenomenal special events!

Launch the holiday season with KRIS KRINGLE The Musical. Featuring Tony Award nominees Cathy Rigby (Peter Pan, Seussical) and Pamela Myers (Company, Into the Woods), KRIS KRINGLE The Musical plays two performances, Friday, November 24 at 3PM and 8PM, at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street, NYC).

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & Mccoy Rigby Entertainment present the first show of its 2017-2018 season, and the 40th anniversary of the iconic theatre with American Idol's Frenchie Davis starring in AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', with music by Thomas 'Fats' Waller, conceived by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Murray Horwitz, musical direction by Christopher Troy, choreography by Jeffrey Polk and directed & staged by Ken Page - an original cast member of the 1978 Broadway premiere!

As previously announced, following two sold-out runs in Los Angeles and a sold-out pop-up engagement in NYC, Cruel Intentions: The Musical, the stage adaptation of Roger Kumble's 1999 cult hit film, created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin and Roger Kumble, will return to New York for a limited engagement at (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) beginning Friday, November 17, 2017.

THE LEGEND RETURNS!  40 years after inaugurating its stage, TONY BENNETT will return to La Mirada Theatre in celebration of its anniversary season!  The 19-time Grammy Award-winning musician whose music spans over six decades will perform, for one night only, on Thursday, October 12 at 8pm at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd. in La Mirada. 

A collection of nearly two decades of performers will join supporters, donors, and community leaders for THE PHANTOM CABARET: A BENEFIT GALA SUPPORTING ARTS EDUCATION, at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts on August 5, 2017 at 6pm.  The event pays tribute to the non-profit organization's 20 year history and dedication to helping young people through the arts and includes dinner, drinks, a silent auction, raffles, and more.

??????? A new production of Blackbird by David Harrower has been announced for a limited run at GTC Burbank. Featuring Candace Hammer and Eric Larson and directed by Jeremy Adrianne Lelliott, the limited run opens August 19 and runs through September 17 only. 

Berkshire Theatre Group announces the final production of its upcoming 2017 Summer Season will be Mark Medoff's Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award-winning play, Children of a Lesser God, which began performances on Thursday, June 22 at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage. Opening night is set for tonight, June 24 at 8pm.

MAN OF LA MANCHA will preview on Friday, June 2, 2017 (with a press opening on Saturday, June 3) and run through Sunday, June 25, 2017 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.
