Today, June 27 is the final day of the Glastonbury Festival 2010 in Glastonbury, England. A number of musicians have performed at the festival including Seasick Steve, Tinie Tempah, Scissor Sisters, and The Dead Weather. The festival began in 1970 thanks to dairy farmer Michael Evis. It has since grown into the biggest music festival in Europe, and celebrates it's 40th anniversary this year. Broadwayworld brings you coverage of the festival below.

Kylie Minogue visits Splash Bar on June 4, 2010 in New York City. In July 1987 Kylie released her first single; a remake of the 1962 Little Eva hit 'Locomotion'. The song hit No.1 in Australia and remained in the top spot for seven weeks, becoming the biggest Australian single of the ‘80's. Singing in German, French, and English, Kim Smith reinterprets works by Weimar-era composers, and modern-day artists alike, from Mischa Spoliansky and the Supremes, to Kurt Weill and Kylie Minogue, as he charts a ruinous path through the arrivals and departures of a neo-Weimar, musical misfit. Australian singer Kylie Minogue is rumored to be collaborating with London's RENT director William Baker on an untitled Broadway project. This is not Minogue's first encounter with Baker; he was the creative director of her 2008 tour, 'KYLIEX2008.' The new musical project will be the story of her extensive musical career and incorporate the best of her musical library. The piece will reportedly be in the style of Mamma Mia, according to Whatsonstage.com.
