Broadway actors, singers, dancers, poets and musicians will be donating their time and talents to raise funds for UNICEF and perform in the one-night-only benefit concert Love Is On the Way: Artists Unite for World Disaster Relief.
The star-studded cast of Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming Broadway production of 'Sondheim on Sondheim' met the press at their rehearsal studios on March 3. 'Sondheim on Sondheim' stars Vanessa Williams, Barbara Cook, Tom Wopat, Leslie Kritzer, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton, Erin Mackey & Matthew Scott. Music & lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim and the production is conceived & directed by James Lapine. The production will begin previews on March 19th, 2010 and open officially April 22nd, 2010 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street). This will be a limited engagement through Sunday, June 13th, 2010.

Producers, Jeffrey Seller and Kevin McCollum, will resurrect the infamous flop musical CARRIE for a 29-hour Equity of the musical that had a notoriously short 3 night, 5 performance run on Broadway in 1988. The CARRIE reading will take place today, Friday, November 20th. The hope is to bring 'Carrie' and her supernatural powers back to the Broadway stage.
