LITTLE DANCER is inspired by the story of Marie van Goethem, a young ballerina who posed for Edgar Degas and became, inadvertently, the most famous dancer in the world.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced complete casting for its world premiere musical production of Little Dancer. The musical features book and lyrics by Tony Award winner Lynn Ahrens, music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty, and direction and choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. Performances of Little Dancer will take place in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater from October 25 to November 30, 2014. Press night will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.
Scott Organ's dark romantic comedy Phoenix, directed by Jennifer DeLia and starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Julia Stiles and James Wirt plays a limited engagement through Saturday, August 23 at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street). ABC continues its commitment to world-class storytelling and new creative voices with the announcement of its 2014-15 slate of programming, including the addition of 12 new series.

All participants receive an additional prize and the winner gets a Season Punch Card good for 6 admissions to any of our shows this season.
Dante is given a tour through the different circles of hell. As he descends further into the underworld it he finds himself slowly descending into madness and that the souls and demons he encounters aren't going to allow him to escape. This ground breaking theatrical production of Dante's Poem is done in modern English making it accessible and understandable to modern audiences. Original premiere in 2008.
