Kyle Dean Massey, star of Broadway's Next to Normal, Wicked, and Pippin, as well as the ABC series Nashville, will present his acclaimed cabaret show in Indianapolis on July 28.

This year's finalists included: Sam Primack, Nathan Keffer, Antonio Cipriano, Jasmine Rogers, Hatty King, Maggie Gidden and winners Sofia Deler and Tony Moreno. Broadway favorites Tom Wopat (A Catered Affair, Annie Get Your Gun) and Kyle Dean Massey (Pippin, Next to Normal, Wicked) will perform in Hattiesburg, Miss. during Festival South, an annual creative arts festival, June 1-17. The Hub City Players will stage Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, whose memorable tunes by Tony nominees, Benj Pasik and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, La La Land) were recorded in 2015.

The Cabaret's next season of engaging, intimate performances continues at Indiana Landmarks Center's Cook Theater.  The Cabaret's 2017 Summer/Fall season, which includes nine Broadway stars and the debut of local chanteuse, Gail Payne, kicks off on Friday, June 30.

The World Tour of Jekyll and Hyde officially opened on Friday March 10th, at the Blue Square Theatre in Seoul, South Korea. The show is helmed by David Swan a director who has worked on Jekyll and Hyde over the past 12 years in Seoul. The Cast is lead by Kyle Dean Massey as Jekyll, Diana Degarmo as Lucy and Lindsey Blevin as Emma. The Show has been touring various cities in South Korea since November 2016 leading to the opening in Seoul. The production is co-produced by US based Worklight Productions ans Seoul based OD company. Jekyll and Hyde runs at the Blue Square theatre until May 27th.

Most actors receive a standard show contract for around 12 months, but that doesn't mean every actor hangs up their shoes and immediately walks into another show. In fact, not only do some actors extend their contracts, but some make an entire career out of an individual credit. Rob Ouellette, who is currently playing pianist Oscar and a member of the tap-dancing ensemble of the 42nd STREET national tour is about to shuffle into his 1,000th performance with the show on February 16th, 2017, so we caught up with him about his experience. Not only has Rob danced his way through six different companies of the musical, but he's performed several variations of the show's choreography, has worked three times with original book writer and director Mark Bramble, as well as with choreography icons Randy Skinner, Kelli Barclay, and Rick Conant, among others.
