Beginning performances on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, TEAL WICKS will assume the role of Elphaba in the Broadway company of WICKED. Ms. Wicks is making her Broadway debut after playing the role of Elphaba in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles productions of WICKED. Additionally, Next to Normal's KYLE DEAN MASSEY will return to the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of Fiyero on Tuesday, January 25.
Kyle Dean Massey (Gabe in Broadway's Next to Normal) spent Sunday, November 14th, mentoring the young talent of Broadway's future as he led a Pop/Rock and Next to Normal-themed master class with Broadway Artists Alliance. Kyle Dean skillfully guided a master class in 'Song Interpretation' to a group of eager and talented young performers ages 10 to 21. Kyle Dean's morning class was followed by an advanced audition technique workshop with a top representative from Telsey and Co. casting agency.

Three-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie and her husband, Broadway veteran Jason Danieley, are starring in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, Next to Normal, where they portray married couple Diana and Dan Goodman. Mazzie and Danieley first appeared on stage together in 1996 in the off-Broadway play, The Trojan Women: A Love Story.

Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2010 Summer Intensive (Session One). Ms. Neuwirth (currently starring in The Addams Family) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance, ages 10-21. The Q&A was led by the hilarious Seth Rudetsky.
