For two nights only, Maine State Music Theatre will present a special concert version of the famous rock musical, RENT. The highly anticipated June 20th and 21st performances will showcase the talents of the newly-arrived MSMT interns, as well as those of local Maine performers.

The benefit performance of the new musical Born Blue will take place Monday 26 April 2010 at 8PM at Touch New York City. Born Blue is produced by Kurt Alger.

RENT alum Anthony Rapp (RENT, YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN) will collaborate on a one night only reading of BORN BLUE, a new musical written by Caren Tackett (RENT). Proceeds from the event will benefit New York City based not-for-profit Friends in Deed.
