Third Rail Rep to Stage THE REALISTIC JONESES, 10/23-11/14

Third Rail Repertory Theatre will stage THE REALISTIC JONESES by Will Eno, directed by Rebecca Lingafelter* and featuring Dana Green, Michael O'Connell*, Darius Pierce*, and Kerry Ryan*. The production runs Oct 23 - Nov 14, 2015, Wednesday-Saturday at 7:30pm, Sunday at 2pm at the Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th Ave. Portland, OR 97214.

Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater Will Lead RICHARD III at Shakespeare & Company This Fall

Fresh from their starring roles in 'Cymbeline' at the Delacorte Theater in New York, real life couple Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater will appear together at Shakespeare & Company in a special Staged Reading of Shakespeare's great historical tragedy Richard III, to benefit the Company's performance, training, and education programs.  This special event is scheduled for Saturday, October 10 at 2 p.m. in the Tina Packer Playhouse. Ms. Rabe will portray Queen Elizabeth, opposite Mr. Linklater who is cast in the title role.  The reading will also feature Tina Packer, Annette Miller and other special guests, and will be directed by Co-Artistic Director Jonathan Croy.

Theater with a View Brings CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION to Sycamore Hill Tonight

Theater with a View is bringing a production of Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker to Pottstown, PA. The play will open tonight, July 23 for an eight-performance run outdoors at Sycamore Hill, the home of Drs. Veronica Covalesky and Nick Leasure, at 481 Ebelhare Road. Directed by Seth Reich, the production features a cast of New York actors.

SHAKE THE EARTH Set for FringeNYC

The 2015 New York International Fringe Festival is pleased to present the world premiere of SHAKE THE EARTH, an explosive one-woman show written by and starring Lousine Shamamian and directed by Misti B. Wills, at the 19th annual New York International Fringe Festival. Performances run Monday, August 17th at 3:45 pm, Thursday, August 20th at 5:30 pm, Saturday, August 22nd at 7:00 pm, Monday, August 24th at 2:00 pm and Saturday, August 29th at 8:45 pm at Spectrum, located at 121 Ludlow Street, 2nd floor (between Delancey and Rivington; subways F, J, M, Z to Delancey/Essex). CT Rep to End 2014-15 Season with A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, 4/23-5/3

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will end its 2014-2015 season with the Shakespeare classic A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre between April 23rd and May 3rd. The comedy of mistaken love and magic is sure to delight audiences.

Performance Network Announces March 2015 Classes

Written by Michael Bradford, this new play stars Martin Sola as Juan Luis Trescante Medina, the aging fascist who claims responsibility for the murder of poet-playwright Federico Garcia Lorca, played by Nicholas Urda.

A production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Proof, by David Auburn, will open Thursday, August 21 for a four-performance run at Sycamore Hill, the home of Drs. Veronica Covalesky and Nick Leasure, at 481 Ebelhare Road in Pottstown, PA. Directed by Seth Reich, the production features a cast of New York actors who will perform the play on the actual porch of the Sycamore Hill home.

The Theatre School at DePaul University Presents Guare's A FREE MAN OF COLOR, Now thru 2/9

The Theatre School at DePaul University will present A FREE MAN OF COLOR, at the new Theatre School building, located at Racine and Fullerton on the Lincoln Park Campus. The Fullerton Stage Theatre is a 250-seat thrust theatre located on the first floor of the school. John Guare's A FREE MAN OF COLOR is directed by Phyllis E. Griffin, premieres on Friday, January 31, and runs through Sunday, February 9, 2014. Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Previews are tonight, January 29 and the 30th, at 7:30 PM.
